WMB Logistics came to us with an unusual brief: they wanted a refrigerated trailer that could also carry motorcycles, and they needed a partner who understood how to secure a bike properly. That’s where we came in, working closely with WMB and the Reefer Trailer Centre from the early design stage through to the finished vehicle.
Chereau dual purpose 2026
Rather than being handed a fixed spec, we sat down with the WMB team to understand exactly how the trailer needed to perform on both legs of the job — bikes out, chilled goods back — and built the solution around that. Together we developed the motorcycle securing system now fitted into the CHEREAU’s alloy floor: seven dedicated securing tracks and custom clamps, engineered so bikes travel safely without compromising the trailer’s refrigeration performance.
It was a genuine back-and-forth. We brought our experience in motorsport and aerospace engineering and years of securing motorcycles for transport; WMB brought a clear picture of how the trailer would be used day to day. That collaboration shaped every part of the final design, right down to the two-tonne Dhollandia tail-lift that keeps loading and unloading quick at both ends.
The trailer now on the road behind WMB’s Scania S770 V8 is proof of what that kind of partnership can produce — a vehicle built specifically around one operator’s needs, doing two jobs instead of one and cutting empty mileage in the process.
